When police raid a house in El Paso, they find it full of dead Latinos, and only one survivor. He’s known as The Traveler, and when they take him to the station for questioning, he tells them those lands are full of magic and talks about the horrors he’s encountered in his long time on this earth, about portals to other worlds, mythical creatures, demons and the undead. Stories about Latin American legends.

39/100 A horror anthology with a suspect in a mass killing telling stories to the police. The first story, about a man who uses light patterns to reveal the dead, was pretty good with some really grotesque imagery. They rest of this was an exercise in patience; obnoxious, irritating and unlikable characters, scenarios dragged out well beyond what's necessary (there was a cringy witch's ritual that I didn't think would ever end), lackluster simplistic stories that were all over the place. Anthologies are hit and miss for everyone, I suppose, and this one really missed big for me. -- DtNostromo.com
