Some movie, this! I had never heard of <em>'Miracle Mile'</em> until a mere few hours ago, when I simply chose to watch it on Prime Video due to its cool poster. With only (a relatively) small amount of watchers on a few sites, I'm surprised this hasn't reached further. As per with me, I hit play without knowing anything about this movie; I actually knew it was classed under 'apocalyptic' from when I minorly vetted it (checked for sequels etc.), but had forgotten. The early few scenes have an odd vibe to them, though I only mean that positively - it fits perfectly, particularly the subtle omnipresent score. Anthony Edwards is the only actor I previously knew, well apart from Kurt Fuller (in only his second movie); I also thought I recognised the guy at the diner next to Harlan, but apparently I haven't seen Alan Rosenberg in anything - must be a doppelganger. Anyway, waffle aside, Edwards is very good - nice to see him away from <em>'Top Gun'</em>. The aforementioned, coupled with an interesting story and a nice and short run time of just under 90 minutes, are reasons why I'd say you should watch this - it definitely deserves more eyes on it.
